Horrible.
The hallmark of a good children's book is if it can be enjoyed by adults and this one certainly was not a good one.

Everything the squirrel says, he says in 3's - ' you are close close close ', ' oh boy oh boy oh boy ' etc.

Snoozeville.
May be ok for a 4 year old but I can not even imagine a 2nd grader being much interested.
