This held up. It's one of the few books from my kidhood that I remember the title of. I read thousands of books as a kid. I liked this one because it was all so foreign to me - running, living in New York, living in an apartment. I doubt I knew that *families* lived in apartments before I read this. I thought they were for single people or couples without children.
Anyway, it held up to reading as an adult. It's sweet and funny and wry.
