Written in 1939, this was another interesting story of her life. I honestly think Anne ended up as a victim of circumstance. The love of her life was Thomas Wyatt, & had her parents seen fit to let her marry him before he was married off to the girl who eventually became his wife, then her life would not have been cut short the way it tragically was, & she would have been happy. BUT, if circumstances did not work out the way they did, then we would not have the world we now have, stemming from Elizabeth I's long reign. I liked getting to see some of the events surrounding some of the other players as well as just her. ( )
