when you hear phrases like "MY T3-NESS"---think SEGERSTROM!
The first Segerstrom book was published almost 2 decades before Carol Tuttle's books "It's Just My Nature" & "Dressing Your Truth," but Carol Tuttle's books are extremely similar, including SIMILAR WORDS,PHRASES, & SENTENCES.

"Look Like Yourself and Love it" explains how to find your primary type in detail in the Caygill 4-Type System (Segerstrom writes about Suzanne Caygill & Caygill-student Joan Songer PSC/John Kitchener PSC). Design line, Pattern/print, Fabrication, Texture, Color, Jewelry, Shoes, Purse, Haircolor, Hairstyle of the 4 Caygill Types are discussed in detail; Celebrities of each type are listed; Facial Features, Walk, Voice, Personality of the 4 Caygill Types are also discussed.

"Style Strategy" (her second book) explains how to modify your clothing, hairstyle, shoes, purse, jewelry to express your secondary type (your second-most prominent type out of the Caygill 4 types). If you are familiar with Carol Tuttle's system you know she also has secondary types. Facial features, walk, voice, personality and how to type and dress is discussed in detail. Very Long Keyword Lists for each of the 4 Types are given. Color photos of the colors for each of the 4 types are in the second book, Style Strategy. (Winters wearing orange is something unusual seen in the systems of: Suzanne Caygill; Caygill-lineage Angela Wright & Jane Segerstrom; and Carol Tuttle.)

Segerstrom does not have Interior Design, Elements, Sun/Moon Cycles, for the 4 types---those are in Caygill 4 Type system books like Caygill's Color the Essence of You and Caygill-lineage Angela Wright's The Beginner's Guide to Colour Psychology (and Carol Tuttle's books which came later...and since Carol Tuttle uses similar wording/similar expression of ideas, I can't recommend her books).

If you have read "It's Just My Nature" or "Dressing Your Truth," you know that all the information about how to dress is not given in the books---you have to purchase an expensive online course costing hundreds of dollars to get the information about how to dress; but Segerstrom gives the all the information about how to dress in the books---in extreme detail.

Like the Carol Tuttle's "Dressing Your Truth" & "It's Just My Nature" books, Segerstrom's books are heavy on personality typing; but only Segerstrom credits the author and book she used for her personality typing source.

Examples of similar wording:

The 4 Caygill types in Jane Segerstrom's books are named: "Type 1" "Type 2" "Type 3" "Type 4"---yes, the exact same names Carol Tuttle uses decades later in "Dressing your Truth" & "It's Just My Nature."

Segerstrom: "my T3-ness"
Tuttle: "my 3-ness" "her Type-2ness"

Segerstrom: "Type Three with a Type Four secondary" "T3-4"
Tuttle: "Type 3 with a secondary Type 4" "Type 3/4"

Segerstrom Type 1: "apple-cheeked"

Tuttle Type 2: "physical expression is softened and blended" "skin is soft and supple with blended skin tones" "quality of being blended and subdued in your physical coloring"

Segerstrom Type 2: "ladylike"
Tuttle Type 2: "Ladylike"

Segerstrom Type 3: "verve"
Tuttle Type 3: "Verve"

Segerstrom Type 3: "rough textured skin"

Segerstrom Type 4: "smooth skin is white as porcelain"
Tuttle Type 4: "smooth, porcelain skin"

Segerstrom Type 4: "Faces are elongated ovals"
Tuttle Type 4: "Face Shape: Elongated oval"

Read the first book to determine your primary Caygill type (T1, T2, T3, T4). The first book was used as a university text. The second book has 16 total possibilities: the 4 pure Caygill types (T1, T 2, T3, T4) and 12 primary/secondary "blends" invented by Segerstrom: T1 with T2 Secondary, Type 1 with T3 Secondary, T1 with T4 Secondary, T2 with T1 Secondary, T2 with T3 Secondary, T2 with T4 Secondary, T3 with Type 1 Secondary, T3 with Type 2 Secondary, T3 with T4 Secondary, T4 with T1 Secondary, T4 with T2 Secondary, T4 with T3 Secondary. Anyone who doesn't fall neatly into one of the 4 pure Caygill types might benefit from the second book. Segerstrom named her system "Signature Style" because she felt you could express authenticity through texture, color, lapel shape, etc.

After reading her books and finding your "Signature Style," you can tell the world, "I'm a SEGERSTROM Type 2/4!" ( )
