This is a good atlas for younger children as it is chock full of descriptive text as well as easy to read maps. Despite an extensive index, though, the maps are not terribly detailed and many pages are over produced for visual effects and related information rather than maps. Nice overview of countries and introductory political and resource maps for each region. Is not adequate as a primary print atlas.
