Description

This gift-sized book holds an imaginative retelling of the parable of the prodigal son as seen through the lens of Piper's poetry. He shows how God's grace comes unexpectedly to not only prodigals but to all who need it.

The poetry format made it harder for me to read, story lines and rhyme lines were not the same, but the modified parable was interesting and thought provoking. Also, it does include a CD of the Author reading the story, which I wish I had used from the beginning since it showed how he read it in a more prose like format.
