This novel was very engaging. Having grown up in Washington DC, President Harry Truman's daughter, Margaret, shows her readers the ins and outs of a society most of us only see on TV shows and movies. This particular work takes us into the FBI's headquarters and has us wondering and investigating alongside Agent Christine Saksis to find out who killed Special Agent George Pritchard. The journey to the answer is well written and clever, and the truth is more than you would expect.
Fast paced plot and good characters. Almost a five star - an interesting ending.
I am a fan of Margaret Truman. There are always a multitude of possibilities to keep you reading. I plan to read them all eventually. I didn't like this one as much as some of the others, possibly due to the subject matter. I am not a fan of the FBI. I don't think she was either.

A good read, but not as enjoyable as other volumes in the series.
A favorite series.
Good background on Washington DC and agency.
I read ALL of her Murder Mysteries.
Read in 2007.
good novel @ Wash D.C. life

Special agent George Pritchard was nobody's favorite at the FBI. But when his murdered body is found, agents Ross Lizenby and Christine Saksis look for answers--only to find that the bureau wants questions kept to a suspicious minimum....
