“The Last Dance,” written by Tim Lahaye and Bob Demoss, is a great book for people who like intriguing books that keep you on your toes. I could not put the book down once I got past the first chapter. This book has you going the whole time. It has twists that you would never expect. I personally like this book mostly because it is a Christian book that is both interesting and easily understood.

The main characters are Heather, Jodi, Kat, and Billy Bender (Elvis Smith.) Heather is the one who has fallen in love with this guy that she met on the Internet. Jodi is the strong Christian out of the group. She is mentoring Kat through becoming a Christian. Kat has just turned her life over to God. Her dad had been in prison because of her, so she s trying to find the heart to forgive him for what he had done. Billy Bender is the cyber stalker who has the website called Mega Fear. The FBI have been on his trail trying to find him to put him in jail for his bad deeds. My favorite character out of them all had to be Kat because I feel like I can mostly relate to her more that any of the other characters.

This book has a very good storyline and the author did a great job in writing it. This book explains the consequences that you could face by meeting someone online. There are cyber stalkers out there and this book gives a good example of why you should not go to meet some random person that you have been chatting with online. The main theme of this book is evil or bad vs. good. The bad person is Billy Bender and the good people are the FBI and Heather and her friends.

The author wrote this book in the perspective of different characters. One chapter is about the FBI, the next is about Billy Bender and him planning his special video, and the last perspective is from Heather and her friends. I liked reading it that way because you get more than one point of view on the situation. If you were just reading a book that only had one persons views and opinions then the book could eventually get boring. By Tim Lahaye writing this book the way he did it made me enjoy reading it even more.

There are multiple settings in this book ever since it is written in the perspective of every one. The setting is at Jodi’s house. Heather and her friends hung out there a lot. The second setting is at the FBI’s station. They are working on this case trying to nail this cyber stalker. The third setting is hard to explain. Billy Bender was all over the place trying to hide from the cops. Some of the places that he was at were an RV park, a motel, a junkyard, and a prison visiting one his friends who was in on the job.
