Dangerous Passions

Actually, historical romantic suspense. 2nd in the series about a secret organization called the Black Phoenix, which recruits people to do undercover work--in this case, to solve a series of murders. I'd have liked this better, except the heroine, who began the book plotting revenge against the hero, persisted in believing the worst of him despite plentiful evidence to the contrary. Argh.
