LEVEN THUMPS AND THE EYES OF THE WANT was a phenomenal book. From the beginning to the end it was non-stop reading. This is a thrilling book with spots of humor and suspense scattered throughout the book. A great book deserves a great rating. ( )

I've read all three books from the Leven Thumps series, and though I'm 28 years old, and not exactly suited to reading this "kids" book, its story of good versus evil can be enjoyed and understood by people young and old. ( )

I'm completely impressed by this series. I could see how some might say it is similiar to Harry Potter. But, really, it's not. At all. Foo is it's own world. The creatures are interesting and well developed.

Each character acts according to their own personalities but also within the world that Skye imagines. The prose is lyrical and the descriptions beautiful. This is one of those books you tear through and then mourn the ending. ( )
