This is one of the most useful books to have in your house. It can be read in a couple of hours and then refered to often as a first aid/health reference manual. Should be one of the first books on every family/individual's health reference shelf--exactly what the title says (not in any kind of expose way--kind of like--what should i do in this situation--should i go to the ER, etc, etc, etc)
