This book highlights all that is best about John Stott - sane, reasonably argued, passionate about Christ and serving him, solidly evangelical yet not blinded by partisan considerations, committed to scripture and not ashamed to advocate scriptural positions. I don't agree with John Stott on everything, but would take him as a guide over many others. Having met the man for a few days, his talk and lifestyle are totally congruent with his writings. Besides the fact that the book doesn't include his latest writings (being published in 1995), the only lack is the absence of a scriptural index. ( ) no reviews | add a review
