More creepy googly eyed vehicles. This time they're busy at work making something out of a mess. What kind of mess? Who knows. Surprise! It's an adventure playground, which is not hinted at on any of the previous pages. Personally, I'd find the big mess to be more of an adventure before they filled in the holes, poured asphalt, and made paths.
My two year old loves this book. The words are big and repeat so he loves to tell me what they say. He's a vehicle fan so of course that make it an even bigger hit.

"With collage and broad brushstrokes of paint, Garcia shows a landfill, and then gradually introduces six google-eyed construction vehicles that toil and ultimately create a playground on the site...Environmentally friendly, a sure shot for construction fans, a color concept book, and an avenue for beginning readers, this book is a winner."
