About My Library

My library has everything I own and have read, all separated out into their own collections. "Read but unowned" (mostly library books) and "Your Library" (everything I consider mine, includes some, but not all of my kids books) are the two main ones if you want to see what I enjoy.

As for ratings, they are pretty subjective, mostly did I enjoy the book and would I recommend it to myself.

***** - I loved this book, own it (or want to when I have money), and quite possibly will read it again.
**** - I really liked it and am glad that I read it.
*** - It was ok. Something good if I have nothing else, but not willing to spend money on it.
** - Not so good. I may not have finished it, but it may have just been the timing. I'm willing to give it the benefit of doubt.
* - No good, don't bother at all.

About Me

I am currently a preschool teacher and love working with kids (note my huge collection of kids books). I'm Catholic and enjoy helping out at my parish, often with kids. I also enjoy music (I've played handbells and sung in church choirs), arts and crafty stuff, photography, oh, and I like to read. ;)

As for what I read, it is almost all non-fiction. I really like what I have tagged "people", biographies/history, something that tells someone's story. I read a fair number of Catholic books, some science, stuff about kids and early childhood education, and what ever else strikes my fancy. Occasionally when I need a break I'll read some fiction, mostly children's and young adult fantasy.
