This is the first of the "Dummies" books I've ever read or even glanced through, and I was very impressed. It is written by a senior research scientiest at NASA, Carlos I. Calle, who really can take very complicated science and explain it in plain language for the general reader.

I bought this book because I am reading a biography of Einstein and was getting a bit lost in the significance of his scientific discoveries. What a great complement to the biography this turned out to be. I won't hesitate to buy other "Dummies" books when I become curious about a subject.
