Professor Treffort was the technical advisor for the movie 'Rain Man'. This book reviews in great detail the mystery of the phenomenon known as 'Savant Syndrome'. The book reviews the history of the subject and then presents a series of modern cases.
If we are to understand how the human brain works in any detail then this area of study is absolutely crucial. These individuals show amazing skills - skills that may be available to all of us if we knew the code.
Highly recommended. ( )
