Description

This story weaves a dark and psychologically acute tale of murder in the stately English home of Bullen Hall. It begins at the curator's retirement party when the mutilated corpse of a guest is dragged from the moat the next morning. Detective-Inspector Ben Jurnet had been in attendance at the party, so he was able to meet everyone, but now he must search for means and motive.

Inspector Jurnet is visiting Bullen Hall as a tourist when a victim is found in the moat. If I recall rightly --I must have read this long ago --it involves some letters by Anne Boleyn.
