Although Sir Earnest Shackleton died without accomplishing his dreams, his struggles, courage, and leadership are something to be admired. The photos definitely help give a true image of how difficult and dangerous his voyages were. Seeing pictures of the whaling station were a little disturbing but the author did write that they ware all closed now.
this book is a great companion for other books on explores, adventures, and the arctic, as well as, the Endurance and Ernest Shackleton.
It is a book about the life of Sir Ernest Shackleton, who was a great explorer of Antarctica. Amazing photos and a very interesting story about a brave and helpful man.
