This book is about making a peanut butter and jelly sandwich from scratch. The book starts off with two children sitting at the table one boy one girl. The girl has an apple on her plate and does not looked pleased, the boy is sitting next to her thinking about a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Than as you go through the book it shows you how to make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich from scratch.

I like this book for children because it shows children working together with an adult to a make the peanut butter and jelly sandwich, which shows children that it is a good thing to work together to accomplish something. Another reason I like this book is because the illustrations show the ingredients that go into what they are making, such as when they are making the dough for the bread it shows yeast, oil and flour in the illustrations.

This is a good book for children because it shows children how to work together to make something. Another reason this book is good for children is because in the illustrations it shows the different ingredients to make each part of the sandwich. ( )
