Of all the Tom and Pippo books, this is the one that made the biggest impact on the Girlchild. Tom's beloved Pippo has got really dirty playing in the garden and has to take a bath in the washing machine. Tom's worry for Pippo is touching and his joy in getting him back, even more so.
I like the paper. I love the feel of that thick paper. One of the stories from "At Home with Tom and Pippo". The sweet story of the child waiting at the washing machine window for the precious toy to emerge clean.
A young boy goes through the process of cleaning his stuffed animal and best friend Pippo.
