This is the second Marcia Talley I've read. It will probably be the last. It really wasn't worse than the first--which I rated 3 stars--but it wasn't any better, either. Talley comes up with an interesting premise, but she isn't able to develop the plot. At 270 pages, the story could have been well-told in 150.

Book #2 in this series is not available on kindle. This is the third book. The plot took a very long time to gather any momentum. After the murder (no spoiler alert. It is a murder mystery, after all) it finally gained some steam. The over-name & place dropping continues in this book. No one can take a step without stepping on an authentically named, verifiable cross walk, store, or hospital.

I will try one more in the series, but no more unless improvement is evident
