Description

Goodwin's Greek Grammar, first published in 1879 and later revised and enlarged, has maintained its position as the most comprehensive grammar available to the serious student of ancient language on both sides of the Atlantic (Goodwin was a Harvard graduate). It has effectively never been superseded. An introduction to the Greek language and its dialects is followed by five major sections: letters; syllables and their accentuation; morphology; syntax, including multiple examples; and the show more metrics of Greek verse.
