A great end to the series. Dealt with some very serious issues of power and responsibility. In a world where the mythical creatures are joined with human companions who help keep them safe. Sometimes officialdom can get in the way of the job and this isn't helping the situation with Kullervo, a powerful shapshifter who wants to eliminate humanity.

Connie is the biggest obstacle to Kullervo's plans, but if he can turn her to his side he would have a very powerful ally in this battle.

This is one of the best books in the sequence and I liked how things were wrapped up. I'll be looking for more written by this author.
This book is really good if you like magical creatures and surprises. ( You should read the first three books before reading this one.) Teenage Connie is still a part of the Society. The Society has two new members and they are both very unique. A fire imp companion and a chimera companion. A new member is going to come to Aunt Evelyn's family!
I really like this book because I like reading about magical animals and I also liked the first books. You really should read this!

It is a book about differences in school and the magical world. I liked the adventurous settings. It had a complete adventure. AHS/NR
