One Lonely Seahorse

A fun counting book. If you aren't familiar with the authors' work, everything in the pictures is made from food. The "coral" on the cover is a mushroom, the seahorse is made from radishes with black eyed peas for eyes. The story is cute enough, but the real fun is identifying the mysterious produce used in the pictures. It may even get your child interested in eating his veggies!

In this book it talks about a sea horse who is lonely and how he wants many friends. Everyone he talks to agrees to be his friend and throughout the pages he counts up to ten friends.
This is a counting book and it also has great photography in the book.

This would be a fun book when learning and practicing to count with children.
If you look closely to the picture you will notice that all the picture are made of vegetables. Such as squash, potatoes and etc.
