It's 1866, and 12-year-old Will Scott is not happy to be riding the orphan train. That's because Will's not really an orphan. He has a father - Jesse, a circus performer. But Jesse tells Will he'll have a better life with a new family out west.

Will lost his mom through an accident and he lived with his dad, Jesse Scott, a circus trick rider. He is not an orphan, but because his father was unable to taking care of him, will's father decided to send him West to find another family who can take care of Will. Will was welcomed to Dr. Wallace's house; will was loved by the couples. However he still plan to leave and goes back to his father. One day, he learned that his father's circus coming to town. Will secretly plan to leave with his father, but at the end he choose to stay back with the Wallace. ( )
