Evidently, one of many books by, Jon Scieszka. He has quite the series going with the "Time Warp Trio". I especially enjoyed the names of the scribes "Bullshink" & "Fulluvit"! Some science fiction with the time machine/book mixed in with some historical context with Leif, Eric's son being another character. Also, get to learn what Thor's Day, I mean Thursday means.
