The first half of the book is filled with Selina trying to do good. The second half is filled with more angst and emotional pain than can fill . . . um . . . an ice tray. Quite sappy emo pain. ( )

Well, there's a story of some sort in this TPB, I'm sure of it, but I was so distracted by just how horrible, horrible, horrible the art was that I think I may have missed the story. Ack, I really didn't like the art in the issues. It was too cartoony and too angular, and a lot of the faces just seemed to have no detail. I could never figure out if the characters were happy or sad.

The plot wasn't totally horrible though. Catwoman goes good (or betterish). Unfortunately she does all her good with money she got from diamonds she stole from a very, very bad man named Black Mask. And then Catwoman's friends and family get dragged into Black Mask's orbit and no one is ever the same, including Catwoman. ( )
