Timeless folklore story of a childless couple getting their wish in a boy born from a peach (peach = "momo" in Japanese). To protect his family and village, that grownup boy becomes a samurai and fights evil ogres/devils ("oni") with the help of a giant dog, monkey and bird.
This edition was published by Island Heritage for the Bank of Hawaii's 75th anniversary. It has wonderful pictures and is a family classic.
