Maisy Dresses Up is a cute book that begins with Maisy being invited to a costume party at Tallulah's.

Talking Points:::
Bright colorful artwork typifies the Maisy series from Lucy Cousins and most older babies, toddlers and younger preschoolers enjoy her books.

The idea of a party, particularly a costume party, is pretty interesting to most small fry, and from what I've seen this topic grabs their attention right away. Particularly after the author asks the question, "what will Maisy be?"

Lucy Cousins does a great job in this one of building tension as she makes suggestions for what Maisy might be, only to take that option off the table because one of Maisy's friends --Charley or Eddie or Cyril...-- are already dressing up as that.

Frugal show more mom's like myself, will like that Maisy doesn't buy an outfit, but makes her own disguise.

Overall, an entertaining book and one of the better Maisy's.
