This is a super cute tie-in book! I found this in my childhood closet as I was doing some cleaning. I remember not enjoying Arthur as a kid and being forced to watch it, so I did NOT enjoy this book at all.

Now, I can easily see it's a sweet, cute book full of rock'n'roll and kids characters love. It was definitely a hit! It's fun, full of colourful pictures and super cute. Also, the Backstreet Boys!

Three out of five stars. ( )

Muffy was watching the Backstreet Boys on their music video on tv. Then Francine said how can you watch them sellouts. Then Francine decided to form her band and found Fern Binky, Nrs. MacGrade, and molly. They called the band "U Stink and everybody loved them. They even got on tv but Francine got upset to make her quit. Then at the end the band got to play first at the Backstreets Boy concert and Francine came back to help play with them. Then Francine apologized to the Backstreet Boys for calling them sell outs.

Book description
Francine starts a band called U Stink and it rises to fame immediately. Then she decides she wants to disband because the other members are going commercial. Meanwhile, Arthur and friends, who didn't make the cut (for good reasons), start a band of their own. They really do stink. When the Backstreet Boys (with appropriate animal ears) stage a concert in town, everyone wants U Stink to play with them on stage.
