The Superhero Women

An excellent collection of origin stories and stories-of-interest about Marvel Comics' notable women characters from the 1960s and 1970s. Along with superheroes, there are warriors, an experimental subject, and even one Norse Goddess. They have different outlooks, skills, and challenges. Some stories are action, some include some mystery, many have elements of humor, and one is a tragedy. The art style varies interestingly between issues, as they were drawn at different times by different artists (one is even in black and white). Costumes range between full body suits to a chain-mail bikini.
