Told by the Bully and the Bullied – a psychological thriller. Sometimes the Bully is not a hurly great male – its someone who is hurt themselves and feels better when they have power over another. Gemma is the bully, she is devastated by her mother leaving and collects pictures of mothers in her scrapbooks. When Mike a new boy arrives, G recognizes him from a cutting – his mother is in prison for the murder of his father –but M wants to keep it secret, and this is what gives G power. She blackmails him for money and to steal and miss parties. A fantastic study in power – very realistic.p.101 – 104G asks M for 5 pounds.
A wonderful story about a girl who is bullied and then she becomes a bully.
