The Future Makers

Good SF short story collection. These are early works by well known authors from the Golden Age of science Fiction. The editor really reached back to the past for these stories. The earliest is from 1935 and the latest is from 1958. I liked all but one. If you like early SF stories read this book.

The Weapon Too Dreadful To Use by Isaac Asimov (For me it's the best story in the book)
Abreaction by Theodore Sturgeon (Thought provoking and pretty good)
The Piper by Ray Bradbury (Good, other world, story)
Castaway by Author C. Clarke (Early weird tale that didn't quite work)
The Hour of Battle by Robert Sheckley (Good short story)
Equator by Brian Aldiss (Fast moving, old show more fashion, detective story with aliens) show less
