I read this in college and, perhaps more than any other of Rothbard's books, this volume opened my eyes to the economic strangulation of the economy by the state. Building on his own foundational work in "Man, Economy, and State" Rothbard demonstrates the powerful effects of government intervention in the economy. This is a key work for understanding the foundations of free enterprise economics.
