Description

Rich Dad's CASHFLOW Quadrant is a guide to financial freedom. It's the second book in the Rich Dad Series and reveals how some people work less, earn more, pay less in taxes, and learn to become financially free. CASHFLOW Quadrant was written for those who are ready to move beyond job security and enter the world of financial freedom. It's for those who want to make significant changes in their lives and take control of their financial future. Robert believes that the reason most people show more struggle financially is because they've been spent years in school but were never been taught about money. Robert's rich dad taught him that this lack of financial education is why so many people work so hard all their lives for money… instead of learning how to make money work for them. This book will change the way you think about jobs, careers, and owning your own business and inspire you to learn the rules of money that the rich use to build and grow their wealth. show less

I found this audio book to be fantastic. While some of the data is out of date due to "The laws being changed as soon as this is recorded", to quote Dave Ramsey, all in all the ideas I believe to be sound. Hearing the audio book is pushing me to take the next action to try to move myself from the E to the I and/or B quadrants. I go to look for a new mentor and some other ideas.

I also saw the insight about important people in my life, like my wife and my dad, which certainly fall in the S quadrant, even if they have never successfully run their own business.

Hearing this audio book also makes me want to again purchase the full version of Kiyosaki's first book "Rich Dad Poor Dad" both for myself as well as for those who are important to show more me.

It's challenging and can be overwhelming. While still swimming in personal debt, I don't want to get sidetracked, but I certainly don't want to remain where I am.

I hope you will take a look and embrace where you are. Determine if you are primarily an Employee, a Sel-Employed Person, a Business Owner, or an Investor. Know how to identify problems and provide solutions in all four and "work smarter not harder" to better your life.

The problem with this book is that is so redundant. Some things are repeated a dozen times.
Still, it's a must-read. It can be the book that changes your life. Seriously.

To call this a good book would be an understatement of monumental proportions. An understanding of the fundamental concepts revealed within should be required for graduation from middle school. You'll say to yourself and others; "Why on earth didn't they tell me about this in school?" The answer, regrettably, is because they didn't know. I predict this is a book you'll read more than once.

Sincerely,
Stenn

A simplified way of looking at finances. A bit overly simplistic but the ideas are interesting.
Genuinely different way of looking at income/expenses and business cash flow. Worth the read.
