"Actually a reprint of 3 romances; two I already read: The Best Bride is Travis and Elizabeth's story, which I hadn't read. The first of the Haynes' brothers to marry for love. In Father in Training; Widowed Sandy moves back the her hometown of Glenwood with three children in tow, and an unexpected tenant on the edge of her property. Sandy dated Kyle's brother back in High School, but didn't know the younger Haynes brother even existed. But the Haynes brothers gained a reputation as ladies' men as they grew, and Sandy applies that label to Kyle. But if he's such a ladies man, why is he hanging around her house and interacting so much with her kids? And teasing her about letting her hair down and letting go...just a little. In Husband by the Hour: Cop Hannah needs a pretend husband to take with her to meet her birth mother. The only guy available is sort of criminal Nick - or at least that what she thinks he is. After accompanying her on the trip, which turns out to be meeting a HUGE family, she finds that Nick is really a nice guy. Which is a good thing, because he's not really a criminal. He's an undercover cop and he loves her.
