Kenny has stolen his brother's girlfriend and got himself mixed up with some nasty characters, in particular, Mack; a man who supposedly punched someone to death but escaped any charges. This book is a 24 - set in one night, with alternating chapters set in the past explaining how Kenny found himself in this predicament. On this Saturday night, he has been beaten himself and now he must lure one Tommy Fortune to his death or suffer the same fate. Into this are mixed his brother Joe and girlfriend Natalie.
