Basic text for operations management course. Works with both strategic and tactical models, for competitiveness, productivity. Begins with good chapter on Forecasting - "because forecasts are the basis for a wide range of decisions..." which are detailed in the remaining chapters. While marketing usually develops the forecast, the reality is that operations is a major user. [63]

Covers business design, systems work, planning, management, quality control, inventory management, supply chain, project management, and even simulations. Testing! With subject index.
