You know that scene we've all be hoping and dreading? The one where Orochimaru consumes Sasuske? It happens here.
The brevity of the fight scene, the totatlity of the success, (or lack thereof,) left me speechless and in awe. Could it be that Sasuke has become an ultimate bad ass? Very likely. Or maybe Orochimaru was just too weakened at that point in time.
It was probably that.

Author/artist Masashi Kishimoto was born in 1974 in rural Okayama Prefecture, Japan. After spending time in art college, he won the Hop Step Award for new manga artists with his manga Karakuri (Mechanism). His first version of Naruto, drawn in 1997, was a one-shot story about fox spirits; his final version, which debuted in Weekly Shonen Jump in show more 1999, quickly became the most popular ninja manga in Japan.
