Computer books have a very short half life. The technology moves too quickly to have "old' books. Linux goes on though. If I ever build another computer, it will be a Linux machine. This clear and readable text is basically a dictionary of Linux commands, with short how to's on their use. I don't believe you can be a nerdy computer guy without knowing at least a little Linux. For those who might not know. Linux is an operating system. It is free and is a viable alternative to Microsoft Windows.
