This was a cute story that taught a moral lesson as well as a more academic lesson. It gives a good prompt for children to write about that allows them to really use their imagination and creativity. It also reinforces that sometimes less is more and we should appreciate the good that we do have.
A very creative story about a young girl learning to be more grateful of the life she and her family lives.
This book will be great for beginning story writers. It expands any kids imagination, and the possibilities they could write about are endless.
Good starter for writing activities, good for introducing imagery and figurative language, talks about different home/family situations.
This book would be good to start out when coming up with an idea to write (Pre-writing). It's about being thankful for what you already have and also appreciating the people in your life.
Story about a girl with first day assignment who wishes her family was more interesting, but soon learns what she has is just as special
