The best thing I've read in a while! Funny, sharp, good well-crafted plot, engaging characters, fast-paced. I loved it!!! Sophie Green is an incredible character and so real - a real woman with all her quirks and foibles. Kind of a cross between Bridget Jones and Stephanie Plum. I will definitely be reading the rest of the Sophie Green series!
I only read this because I could download it for free from Amazon - getting very frugal with these ebooks :)

Anyway, not normally at all the sort of book I would read, but I loved it. Yes it's obviously, not at all based in reality, but I liked the writer's voice. The story is told from the point of view of the heroine and she sounds a lot like Bridget Jones, in my mind anyway. A good way to escape realism for a couple of hours.
Spoilers. Just junk. The main character is a buxom blonde englishwoman who is smarter than she seems, and who works for an airline checking people in, and gets recruited into a very very small group that protects airports. She is pretty wholesome, with a cat and a family and good friends, and she fights for the right and wins out in the end, hard to see how. The villain was pretty obvious and perhaps trite.
Er, erm (seriously what's up with that?). Good fluff
