Possibly the book that led me to study biology, at least a contributor. I haven't read it since I was a kid, so this may be updated when I revisit it. What I remember was a sprawling journey through a wide range of topics, including trilobytes, taking home road kill to study the bones, experiments kids could do, etc. There is an aged feel to it now, with black and white photographs and 80s-looking kids. I'd love to see this updated and with a website. ( )
