I'm actually not as crazy about the style of the patterns in this one, but it has a great section on designing your own amigurumi patterns from sketches. It shows how most animals can be broken down into a few basic shapes, the same way you do when you're drawing. Lots of good ideas.
Some nice little amigurumi designs, it's full of ideas about creating your own, lots of photos of other peoples projects as well.
