When MacKayla Lane receives a torn page from her dead sister's journal, she is stunned by Alina's desperate words. And now MacKayla knows that her sister's killer is close. But evil is closer. And suddenly the sidhe-seer is on the hunt: For answers. For revenge. And for an ancient book of dark magic so evil, it corrupts anyone who touches it. Mac's quest for the Sinsar Dubh takes her into the mean, shape-shifting streets of Dublin, with a suspicious cop on her tail. Forced into a dangerous triangle of alliance with V'lane, an insatiable Fae prince of lethally erotic tastes, and Jericho Barrons, a man of primal desires and untold secrets, Mac is soon locked in a battle for her body, mind, and soul.… (more)

The Fever books are well-written and I love Mac, but I'm really tired of the cliff-hangers! Is it too much to ask to have something... Anything resolved in one book? I want to know what Barrons is. I want to have some clue what's going on. Fortunately, I started the series after several books had been written, so I can catch up withput waiting too long for the next book. ( )

This was not the book I intended to be the first book I read for 2012. What can I say though? I'm hooked on this series...have been since the beginning. I've gobbled the books greedily, can't wait till I get the next one. Thinking about them when I'm not reading them. It's rather bizarre actually. But, I'm glad I picked them up. I can't believe I waited so long! ( )

Ok, Ms. Karen Marie Moning...I'm totally in! I mean, I was in...but now?! I'm already on to Dreamfever. Holy smokes this one was a page-turner...I would have finished sooner but people (family) kept interrupting me with demands...work...food...sleep, etc.

The lead-up to Samhain was nailbiting and then...then...holy sugar daddy!!! Obviously, I cannot go into details, but suffice to say, I am loving Ms. Moning's writing and Ms. Lane ( )

When you have to add a disclaimer at the end of your book to explain and justify the events that occurred in said book, you are most definitely doing something wrong. ( )

It really could have been written better and moved faster.
But, it was interesting and intriguing.
Though there is a Nasty 'Rape' scene, there isn't the Romance adult intimate scenes I want.
There are a couple of 'Almost'

I will be continuing, but this needs to get it's ass moving! ( )
