The pictures are what really make this book, about the wind blowing kites and sailboats and wind turbines, special. Elena Temporin's watercolors are soft and rounded, yet bright and saturated with color, and enhanced with colored pencil. There is not much plot, but more a narrative of what the wind is blowing (a kite, a sail, a sycamore seed). A cute, whimsical picture book, with an emphasis on the pictures. Recommended for ages 3-5.
