Or the way the baked ham rose up against Dave while he was standing in the check-out queue at Budgens. Small things. But they just kept getting bigger. And by the time everyone realised that something very strange was going on, it was all too late. The Earth had left behind the age of science and show more reason and moved once more into a time of myth. A time of legend and heroes. Of romance and wizardry and wonder. What can I say, its a story about a modern man swept up in the change when the world goes from Science based to fantasy based. He goes around, tries to help the locals, gets run out of town, generally gets into trouble. Its fun, its not very deep. Its a great story for a light read, but don't go looking for a book about the meaning of life.
Failed the 40 page test. Dreadfully dull. Off to the Bosnia shop.
