Although now dated (the latest titles listed are 20 years old now), this is still a handy guide for getting into science fiction, running down forgotten books, or discovering a new-to-you author. It lists over 3000 books with ratings and reviews, so it's a handy reference for a book group or collector. It's also fun for the obsessive SF reader -- what have I missed? What have I read? My copy is full of highlighted titles.

I do wish someone would create an update covering the last 20 years of SF publishing, even if just as a website. (Is there a website out there?) ( )
