This is the exceptional child's book that has strong appeal to the adult as well. A little, motherless boy grows up in a poor, loving family, but cannot speak. Jamie is assigned the role of shepherd in the school Christmas play and in his mind takes on the persona of the shepherd. Christmas morning he is given the opportunity in real life to bring a gift to a new born baby and a Christmas miracle occurs. I hope to read this story to my grandchildren every Christmas Eve.
A Christmas story of a small mute boy who speaks to a man and his wife at Nativity.
A beautiful story for sharing at Christmastime.
