I saw it on the bookstore shelf and instantly remembered having read it as a kid. It was a delight to be able to buy a copy for my nephews. I hope they enjoy it as much as I did! Source: The book's inside back cover. This story of excess shows that there can be too much of a good thing. Sam is left home while his mother and father go to a Halloween party.
